Who's Wrong? Today's take

Two coworkers co-led a client pitch. One promised to finish the last slides the night before; the other told the client the deck was ready. In the morning the slides were missing and the client asked for them. The person who missed them says they were up late with another project; the other says they were left scrambling.

Who's wrong?

WHY THIS ONE?

This is about clear promises and falling on a teammate versus being blamed for a claim you made to a client. People split on responsibility and trust.
